Half way!!!!!! Yay!!!!!!
Really has flown by!!
Another overcast day, with a sprinkling of rain, saw Mike, Sean and I run a steady paced 42 miles into Valentine, 41 miles on US-20 and the final stretch on The Cowboy Trail, a rail road trail which we’ll be on for much of tomorrow and the following day. It’ll be good to get back to the trail which I’ve missed since all of Montana, Wyoming and South Dakota was on road – well, except 5 miles. This was in part owing to the fire diversion in Montana meaning we missed some of the planned trail in South Dakota. But they’ll be more – we hit a lot of trail near the end of the run too.
Wonderfully Zach and Heidi found a Movie Theater (sic) in Valentine after I said I was craving a night at the cinema – so we’re off to see Prometheus now! Hopefully that’ll banish the Bon Jovi song from my head….

Half way!!!
Well done Jennifer – totally amazing.
Thank you! I wish I could say it’s been easy but it’s not as tough as I thought it would be; which is one good thing!
Half way! You’re amazing!! It’s great to hear that there will be more trail coming. All the best for the second half.
Thank you! Loving the trail and hoping the second half is as good as the first!
Congratulations on getting to half way! Treat yourself to an extra cake.
Thank you! I had extra ice-cream to celebrate – cake is in poor supply in Nebraska; best to stick to dairy, beef or corn products!
